Yesterday I spent the whole day in the center of Mexico City. I visited the most important building and central places -like the enormous square of Zocalo- and among all the things we did we went on top of the Latino America tower, where from the 42nd floor you can see the whole city. For who does not know this city, Mexico city was built by Spanish people on top of the ancient Aztec city and on top of a lake and is completely surrounded by mountains, in the center you can see traditional buildings as well as buildings in European style, therefore it's an interesting mix of cultures and you can read the history of the population just looking around.

 Something that I will always remember is the top of this Aztec pyramid that I could see from the top of a Spanish church: they just found it and they are probably going to destroy the church so that they can go on with the excavations: I can guess that the pyramid is massive.

 I could spend hours talking about the city, but in this case I think that the pictures speak louder than words.

Ieri ho passato la giornata nel centro di città del Messico. Ho visitato gli edifici e posti più importanti   - come l'enorme piazza chiamata Zocalo- e tra le molte cose che ho fatto siamo andati in cima alla torre "Latino America", dove dal 42esimo piano si poteva ammirare tutta la città.

Per chi non conosce la città del Messico, questa, era stata costruita dagli spagnoli sopra alla antica città azteca e sopra a un lago ed è completamente circondata dalle montagne, nel centro si possono vedere edifici tradizionali messicani come anche edifici in stile europeo, per questa ragione la città è un mix interessante di cultura e guardandosi intorno si può leggere la sua storia.

Una cosa che mi ricorderò per sempre è la cima di questa piramide Azteca che si vedeva dalla cima di una chiesa spagnola: l'hanno trovata da poco e probabilmente demoliranno la chiesa per procedere con gli scavi: da quello che ho visto ho capito che la piramide è enorme.

Potrei passare ore a parlare della città ma penso che le foto parlino parlino molto di più delle parole stesse.
