Among all the things I could have done in my life, I would have never thought about studying architecture.

I tried with everything...When I was really little I wanted to be a gymnast, but I stopped training, I wanted to be a painter, an actress, a fashion designer, and then for years I spent my days composing verses, reading, practicing with everything I could to become a writer... I always gave up. Out of all the big or small talents I had, I've never really listened to any of them, I've always thought it was too easy to spend my life doing something I already could do. If for a long time I was looking at my life going in a specific direction, I've never really thought it could overturn from one day to the other, starting to go through steep paths, instead of going towards where some doors were open. It's only following my heart, my instinct and also a bit of craziness if everyday I can consider myself lucky for what I do, stressing trying to subdivide my time fairly into university-family-boyfriend-blog-collaborations. Over-stressing and complaining during hard and unsuccessful times (here I am talking about these first days in school again) and trying to always better myself and better everything I do at the same time.

So, if I write this post today, is not to tell you that the perfect look to wear at school is that one that finds a compromise between being cozy and being fashionable, and all this stuff you can read in other fashion blogs, but to tell you to not be scared when facing difficulties, we are all insecure and we are all afraid of showing that side of us, when it would be way much easier to just open our eyes and find the strength to deal with things, just looking at a person that has never given up on us, for example... ♥

Tra tutte le cose che immaginavo di poter fare quando ero piccola, mai e poi mai mi sarei immaginata che un giorno avrei studiato architettura. E dire che le ho provate davvero tutte... Da molto piccola volevo fare la ginnasta, ma dopo qualche anno ho smesso di esercitarmi, volevo essere una pittrice, un'attrice, una fashion designer, e poi per molti anni ho passato le mie giornate a comporre versi, leggere, esercitandomi con tutti i mezzi che potevo per diventare una scrittrice... Ho sempre mollato con tutto. Di tutti i grandi o piccoli talenti che avevo, mai una volta ne ho ascoltato uno, mi è sempre sembrato troppo facile dedicarsi a ciò di cui si è capaci. E se per molto tempo ho pensato alla mia vita andare in una determinata direzione, mai avrei pensato che si potesse capovolgere da un giorno all'altro, iniziando a percorrere percorsi ripidi, invece che passare dove le porte erano già aperte. E' solo seguendo il cuore, l'istinto e un briciolo di follia se ogni giorno mi posso considerare fortunata di quello che faccio, stressandomi cercando di dividere il mio tempo tra università-famiglia-fidanzato-blog-collaborazioni. Iper-stressandomi e lamentandomi nei periodi di insuccessi (in questo caso mi riferisco a questi primi giorni di università) e cercando di migliorarmi e migliorare sempre ,

Concludendo, se scrivo questo post oggi non è per dirvi che per andare in università/scuola dovete trovare un compromesso tra comodità e fashion etc etc (cose che probabilmente potete leggere in qualsiasi blog di moda), ma per dirvi di non avere mai paura di fronte alle difficoltà, tutti noi siamo insicuri e ovviamente non lo vogliamo dare a vedere, quando basterebbe aprire gli occhi per trovare la forza di affrontare le cose, grazie ad una persona speciale che non ci abbandona nei momenti difficili, per esempio.... ♥
