Harem Pants

posted on: 30.11.12

EN Last Sunday Roberto and I decided to shoot these pictures, featuring -unusual for my style- harem black pants and the Oasap pleated camel coat paired with boots. The charmy detail of the outfit was for sure the new necklace from  Collana con Nome, an italian online shop that makes the classic "Carrie" necklaces. Do you like the one I got?

Rings and bracelets all from myjewelrybox.com

EN For a long time I wanted to buy myself a "promise" ring, a ring that I can wear everyday and that reminds me to always be loyal to myself. I found the perfect ones the other day and I had no chance but share them with you. At the same time I am kind of sending a "message" to my boyfriend...Could n't you get me some diamonds for Christmas? :)
What do you girls think? Do you like these items? Have a look on myjewelrybox.com and let me know!

Militarism

posted on: 25.11.12

EN "Nowadays women in New York wear sandals even in winter" said Nina Garcia -fashion editor of Elle US- some years ago. The shoes I am wearing in the post are not from a summer collection, but they could be worn in summer and while I was putting together the outfit these words suddenly came to my mind. The beauties you see today at my feet are from the winter collection Cinti.it, a brand I discovered not long ago and that surprised me because of the honest prices of the hand made in Italy products. I would totally see them for new year's eve look, but for now I propose you a militar urban look hoping you will like it. What are your thoughts about it?

Dolled Up Black

posted on: 19.11.12

EN In these autumnal days leaves are finally covering the parks and the city looks to me like one of those impressionist paintings with warm colors I like. The easiest thing for me to do is to wear my favorite Dolce & Gabbana coat, a cozy and cute dress (this one is from Dahlia), a vintage bag and act like a (black) princess!

Borsalino Showroom

EN Last week I went to Borsalino's Showroom for the press day and to talk about a collaboration that will start soon on the blog (are you excited like I am?)
That day I could see the SS collection, that was a triumph of pastel colors and white summer cloches. The most interesting pieces were for sure the fedoras made out of drilled felt, a real innovation since the material is usually solely employed for winter hats, but in this case it was cleverly used for summer collection super light hats.
In another little room there were all the most crazy pieces of the past collections: all the type of hats, headbands and even helmets! Useless to tell you about it when the pictures talk on their own:)
Furthermore, from now you can shop Borsalino's creations quickly just using THIS LINK.
Enjoy the pictures!

Martin Margiela for H&M Presentation

EN The Maison Martin Margiela collection for H&M is essential: made of a game of cuts, volumes, classic tones (like blue, black and nude) and revisitations of iconic items, it seeks for the return of a pure and clean design, completely dedicated to fashion lovers.
The pieces I loved the most are for sure the oversized coat (it's a must to wear it as a cape), the version of the jeans from the 90's (that you will for sure see in my outfits after the 15th of November), the candy wrap clutch and the leather jacket made out of rough leather, but that is for sure one of the most designed item of the whole collection.
What are your favorites and which pieces are you going to/would you buy? I am so curious! Hope you like the pics :)

My Skirt

look with long blue skirt and black

EN The other day I went with my boyfriend to help him with his 1001 portraits project for his blog www.oldscratchedvinyl.com, for which by the way I remind you that if you live in Milan or you are around Milan and you are interested at getting a picture from him you don't have to hesitate to contact me :)
Anyways this was my outfit for the occasion, that we shot when the light was almost gone. The navy blue skirt from Chicwish is the unique protagonist of the look, with its pleating and perfect length. I just couldn't stop playing with it and that's what I wanted to show you with this quick post!
PS: From today you can also read my blog in SPANISH! Just go on reading the post... :)

Trend Report: Metal Cap Toe

Metal cap toe boots and shoes
1-6: Topshop 2-4: Vj Style 3-8-7: Oasap 5: Asos

(Now or never) This is not a trend alert: we saw the metal cap toe in the past Luis Vuitton collections, that brought the metallic tip invented in 1957 to a new life. Personally I wasn't going crazy for the summer versions of these kind of shoes (also see the yellow one from Zara in the picture below), but I recently fell in love with the models proposed for this F/W...Especially the flat booties. So now I am just looking for the perfect model (unluckily many online brands only made them till european 39 and I am 40).
What do you guys think about the metal toe cap?
Hope you'll see some good pair at my feet soon!

The Free Run

Nike free run with jeans

If in my blog I never wear sneakers it's just cause in my everyday life I actually do not wear sneakers... The word "sneaker" is not part of my dictionary: it's hard for me to find sneakers with a design that fascinates me and I always go for boots or flats when I want to be comfy.... But one day I met my Nike Free Run, I liked them, tried them on and I fell in love with them.
I think there have never been such awesome shoes on the market. The design is cleaned and beautiful and the shoes are the most comfortable I've ever tried and whenever I put them on I feel I want to go for a "Free Run".
Yesterday I wore them in a totally sporty outfit rocking my new Chicwish aztec sweater, leatherette H&M pants (take a look to the last pic lol), red lipstick and Dior nail polish.
What do you think of the result?
Do you prefer me wearing chic outfits or sporty ones?

Eskimo

What's better than a coat to face the first colds?
An eskimo inspired sweater! :P
In Milan we are freezing at the moment and everyday it becomes harder to wear an outfit without using the same "external" layer every time. That's why I am trying hard to find some alternatives to the same, boring, repetitive black coats I have all over my wardrobe. I can't believe I forgot about this sweater I purchased in Zara last year and that I did not use much before, even though it's totally cozy and I had so much fun taking it around with me :D I loved the combination of the materials in the look and for sure the silvered details of my Estarer accessories and the Dior nail polish gave the look a final touch.
What are your must coats for this winter?
