EN Irene: When I met you I was not expecting to see such a young woman. How old are you and how did you manage to become so successful so quickly?

Jessica: Being honest I don't think I am that young, I am 24 and I would have liked to manage to do more by now, but everything takes its time. I think that my luck was that of learning while working; I started selling to private clients having a direct feedback. That's how I started building my brand little by little.

I: How is the creative process for you when you are working on a new collection?

J: When I start drawing a new collection I become a solitary person. There's a need to work in a certain mood, a mood that has to do with the theme of the collection. In that way I keep myself concentrated and I manage to get a fluid and continuative work. Before this phase there's of course the one related to the inspirations: traveling, new experiences and meeting new people are the sources of my creativity.

I: What is your motto?

J: If you follow your passions you'll never get lost.

IT Irene: Quando ti ho conosciuta non mi aspettavo di trovarmi davanti una donna così giovane. Quanti anni hai e come hai fatto ad ottenere un tale successo così in fretta?

Jessica: In realtà non penso essere cosi giovane (24 anni), vorrei aver fatto molto di più! Però tutto prende il suo tempo. Credo che la mia fortuna sia stata quella di imparare facendo, vendendo prima a clienti privati in modo da avere un feedback immediato e poi permettendo così di costruire il brand poco a poco. 

I: In cosa consiste il processo creativo quando stai lavorando su una nuova collezione?


J: Sono abbastanza solitaria quando arriva il momento di disegnare una nuova collezione. C'è un certo bisogno di rimanere dentro una certa atmosfera - legata al mood/tema della collezione - in modo da rimanere concentrata e di ottenere un lavoro fluido, continuativo. Ovviamente, prima di questa fase, c'è la fonte delle ispirazioni: viaggi, nuovi incontri e nuove esperienze sono le fonti della mia creatività.

I: Qual'è il tuo motto?

J: Se insegui le tue passioni non sarai mai perduto.

ES Irene: Cuando te conocí no esperaba que fueras una mujer tan joven , ¿cuantos años tienes y como has hecho para ser tan exitosa siendo tan joven?

Jessica: Siendo honesta, no creo que yo soy tan joven, tengo 24 años y me hubiera gustado hacer más por ahora, pero todo lleva su tiempo. Creo que mi suerte fue la de aprender trabajando, comencé a vender a clientes privados que me dieron una opinión directa. Así fue como comencé a construir mi marca poco a poco.

I: ¿Cómo es el proceso creativo cuando estas trabajando en una nueva colección?

J: Cuando empiezo a dibujar una nueva colección me convierto en una persona solitaria. Hay una necesidad de trabajar en un cierto estado de ánimo, un estado de ánimo que se relaciona con el tema de la colección. De esa manera puedo mantenerme concentrada y me las arreglo para conseguir un trabajo fluido y continuativo. Antes de esta fase es, por supuesto, la fase relativa a las inspiraciones: viajar, vivir nuevas experiencias y conocer gente nueva son las fuentes de mi creatividad.

I: ¿Cuál es tu lema?

J: Si sigues tus pasiones nunca te encontraras perdido.
