[tab title=”EN”]MET GALA 2018 HEAVENLY BODIES BEST LOOKS Every year, MET Gala is celebrated the first week of April. It is a fundraising event, for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, that marks the beginning of the Costume’s Institute’s annual fashion exhibit. The guests are personally selected by Anna Wintour, Vogue Editor in chief and chair of the event since 1995. The Gala is organized around the main theme of the exhibit; this year’s theme was Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.

Next, we’ll present you our top 5 best looks of MET Gala 2018:
1. Blake Lively
Blake was definitely the one who rocked the red carpet with a beautiful burgundy dress designed by Italian fashion house, Versace. She brilliantly dressed according to the theme, adding a very feminine touch with a gown accentuating her waist and the colors perfectly matching with her skin and hair color. The cherry on top was Blake honoring her family with the hidden message on her clutch, which read the initials “B”, “I”, “R” and “J”, plus their last name “Reynolds”.
2. Rihanna
What we love most about Rihanna is that she shines bright like a diamond everywhere she goes, not only for her creative taste in fashion but because she’s authentic and remains true to her essence. For this year’s Met Gala, she actually shone, thanks to what she wore in the red carpet. Rihanna wore a papal look by French fashion house, Maison Margiela. The key elements were the hat and the cross necklace made of the finest jewels.
3. Olivia Munn
Olivia Munn was stunning at Met Gala with a monochromatic look; she wore an H&M metallic bodycon dress with a golden net as an accessory on top of her head. The Swedish fashion firm shared in their twitter that Olivia Munn actually participated in the design of her dress. With her outfit she made a statement: first of all, that the simplicity of her outfit didn’t stop her from respecting the Gala’s theme and looking just great. Second of all, she is the perfect example confirming that “less is more”.
4. Emilia Clarke
Like a good kid in school, she delivered a perfect assignment: Emilia Clarke honored the Gala’s theme, wearing in the red carpet, a Dolce & Gabanna black dress with golden embroidery contrasting and matching at the same with her hair and crown. Plus, the element with which she literally fulfilled the red carpets theme was the angel images depicted on the dress.
5. Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra turned the very ecclesiastical burgundy velvet fabric, into a powerful feminine color, that was the base of her dress. Velvet texture brought everything to her outfit; instead of having embroidery, or her putting on big jewelry, velvet pulled up her dress to the next level. Of course, she combined it with a lovely bejeweled hood that was just the cherry on top. The brand behind her gown was Ralph Lauren.
