The City Is My Church

Have you ever seen with your eyes Milan completely empty?
It happened to me last weekend, and I'm happy to share these photos with you. Here I am in the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, in the so-called Octagon, a place of incredible beauty, which we rarely stop to observe, used to the bustle of the city. In the middle of the night it had a completely different appearance, it was a desolate place and had something of magic, which really gave me emotions: I was alone in the center of this important piece of architecture in Milan, just me, small , cold, alone in front of the nature and the imposing creations of man, I felt helpless, only able to see with my own eyes a sleeping city.

Avete mai visto con i vostri occhi Milano completamente vuota?

A me è successo lo scorso week-end, e sono contenta di poter condividere queste foto con voi. Qui sono nella Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, nel cosidetto Ottagono, un posto di una bellezza incredibile, che noi milanesi abituati alla frenesia della città di rado ci fermiamo ad osservare. Nel cuore della notte invece aveva tutto un altro aspetto, era un posto desolato e aveva un non so che di magico, che mi ha veramente fatto emozionare: c'ero solo io al centro di questo importante pezzo architettonico di Milano, solo io, piccola, al freddo, di fronte alla sola natura e alle imponenti creazioni dell'uomo mi sono sentita impotente, capace solo di ammirare con i miei occhi una città addormentata.

Le foto del mio outfit sono invece state scattate a inizio serata, quando Milano era ancora viva, piena di gente, a mio parere il fulcro di una città.

Indosso una gonna di pizzo nera, biker boots da cui non mi posso separare, il mio cappotto di Zara, una maglia di Brandy con una croce (adoro), una piccola borsa borchiata...
